Bring It On Movies: Release Order
The Bring It On franchise is an anthology series of cheerleading films, with each movie featuring entirely new characters, locations, and stories. The only common thread is competitive cheerleading and the themes of teamwork, rivalry, and determination.
The original Bring It On (2000) starring Kirsten Dunst and Gabrielle Union became a box office success and cult classic, praised for its sharp commentary on cultural appropriation and white privilege. The direct-to-video sequels that followed feature completely different casts and vary significantly in tone and quality. The final entry, Cheer or Die (2022), takes an unexpected turn by blending the cheerleading formula with horror elements.
