Bryan Edgar Wallace - Watch Order: Release Order
The Bryan Edgar Wallace films were produced by CCC Filmkunst as a deliberate attempt to capitalize on the success of the main Edgar Wallace series. These standalone crime thrillers span from 1962 to 1972, each featuring its own cast and mystery without narrative connections between films.
While marketed under Bryan Edgar Wallace's name, many of the stories were heavily adapted or entirely original creations in the style of his father's work. The series includes the notable crossover Dr. Mabuse vs. Scotland Yard, which serves as both a Bryan Edgar Wallace film as well as an entry in the Dr. Mabuse series. Each film offers gothic atmosphere, masked killers, and the distinctive Krimi style that defined German crime cinema of the era.
