Django - Watch Order: Release Order
The Django franchise is a unique phenomenon in Western cinema, where a single iconic character spawned dozens of films across multiple decades. Beginning with Sergio Corbucci's influential 1966 original starring Franco Nero, the Django name became a brand unto itself, with countless filmmakers creating their own interpretations of the mysterious gunslinger.
This watch order is not an exhaustive list, as it only includes the major Django films - there are more than 80 movies that used the Django name in their titles. The franchise encompasses everything from surreal cult classics to action-packed adventures, with each film offering a different take on the Django mythos while maintaining the core elements of violence, vengeance, and moral ambiguity that define the character.

A Few Dollars for Django
Django, bounty killer, hunter and repentant bandit wants to start a new life. No more bullets and blood, after years of killing and horror. Django wants to replace the sherrif and restore law and order to lawless land, but faces the history and bloodshed of his own past. Helped by the love of the daughter of a bandit Django can finally bring his life of violence to and end and spend his days in peace... If he can live that long!

Django Shoots First
Django's father is framed by his business partner Clusker and shot by a bounty Killer. Django inherits his fathers part of the business and a score to settle with Clusker.

Django Kill... If You Live, Shoot!
A Mexican outlaw known as "The Stranger" is part of a band of thieves that steal a cargo of gold from a stagecoach. However, the Americans in the band betray him, and shoot all the Mexicans. The Stranger is not completely dead though, and crawls his way out of his shallow grave, continuing his pursuit of the gold, and exacting a bloody vengeance.

Son of Django
The son of Django searches for the murderer of his father and is thereby involved in a war between two factions headed by former acquaintances of his famous parent.

Django and Sartana Are Coming... It's the End
A gang of vicious outlaws lead by the crazed Black Burt Keller abduct Jessica Colby and decide to flee to Mexico. Shrewd bounty hunter Django and saintly roving gunslinger Sartana join forces to rescue the poor lass from the gang's vile clutches.

Django Challenges Sartana
Django comes to town to discover that his brother Steve, accused of robbing a bank, has been lynched. Django believes the real culprit is Sartana and challenges him to a duel. Just in time he discovers that the author of the crime is an important local figure and Django and Sartana join forces to punish him.

One Damned Day at Dawn... Django Meets Sartana!
The small desert town of Black City is held in a reign of terror by a nasty gang of criminals lead by the ruthless Bud Willer. Earnest, but inexperienced Sheriff Jack Ronson arrives in town to establish law and order. Mysterious bounty hunter Django helps Ronson out.

Viva! Django
Django is on the trail of some renegade outlaws who raped and killed his wife. En route, he rescues a horse thief from an impromptu hanging. He discovers the man knows who committed the murder. The men team up and head west for revenge.

Django Strikes Again
Former gunfighter Django has become a monk and abandoned his violent former ways. His daughter is kidnapped by rogue Hungarian soldiers using slave labor to run a silver mine. Django casts off his habit and digs up his machine gun to practice a little liberation theology.
