View Askewniverse Movies: Release Order
The View Askewniverse is Kevin Smith's interconnected comedy universe that began with the low-budget indie hit Clerks and expanded into a famous franchise spanning nearly three decades. This series follows various characters across New Jersey, with the stoner duo Jay and Silent Bob serving as the connective tissue between films.
This Release Order presents the eight core theatrical films as they were released, starting with the convenience store comedy that launched Smith's career. Note that we've excluded the 2013 animated film Jay & Silent Bob's Super Groovy Cartoon Movie as it exists as a "movie within the movie" and breaks the live-action continuity of the main series.
