Left Behind Movies: Release Order
The Left Behind franchise consists of multiple film adaptations of the bestselling Christian apocalyptic novels. The series explores what happens when millions of people suddenly vanish in the Rapture, leaving non-believers to face the rise of the Antichrist during the seven-year Tribulation period.
This watch order includes all six films in release order, though they represent two completely separate timelines plus one standalone spinoff. The original trilogy (2000-2005) starred Kirk Cameron and was released direct-to-video. The 2014 Nicolas Cage reboot launched a new continuity that continued with 2023's Rise of the Antichrist starring Kevin Sorbo. The 2016 film Vanished is a standalone young adult spinoff based on the Left Behind: The Kids book series and is not connected to either timeline.
