Unbreakable Movies: Release Order
M. Night Shyamalan's Unbreakable trilogy presents a unique take on the superhero genre through three interconnected films that must be watched in release order to preserve their carefully crafted narrative reveals. What begins as a standalone superhero origin story evolves into something much larger through an ingenious storytelling structure.
Split was marketed as a completely separate thriller whose connection to Unbreakable is revealed late in the film, making it a stealth sequel. Glass then provides a crossover conclusion, bringing together all the characters and mythologies from both previous films in a climactic confrontation that completes the trilogy's exploration of extraordinary people in an ordinary world.
