V/H/S Movies: Release Order
The V/H/S franchise is a horror anthology series where each film contains multiple unrelated short horror films connected by framing narratives about discovering sinister VHS tapes. While the individual segments are largely standalone, this release order provides the best experience to understand the franchise's evolution and experimental approaches to found footage horror.
The list includes two spin-off films: SiREN expands on the Amateur Night segment from the original V/H/S, while Kids vs. Aliens builds upon Slumber Party Alien Abduction from V/H/S/2. These spin-offs abandon the found footage format for traditional filmmaking but provide deeper exploration of fan-favorite segments. The franchise intentionally maintains minimal continuity between films, making each entry accessible as a standalone experience.
There is 1 other watch order available - see the link up above.
