The Amityville Horror Movies: Release Order
The Amityville Horror franchise began as a trilogy of theatrical films based on the alleged true events at 112 Ocean Avenue, but later evolved into one of horror cinema's most fragmented series. This complete watch order includes the original trilogy, the direct-to-video haunted object sequels, major remakes, and notable modern entries.
The list transitions from the house-centered original films to standalone stories about cursed artifacts spreading the Amityville evil, includes the 2005 remake starring Ryan Reynolds, and the meta-reboot Amityville: The Awakening where previous films exist as movies within the story. Note that this list is not exhaustive, as numerous other low-budget films have used the Amityville name, particularly after 2010 when legal controls over the title expired.
There are 3 other watch orders available – see the links up above.
