Pacific Rim Movies: Release Order
The Pacific Rim series presents humanity's epic battle against colossal interdimensional creatures called Kaiju using giant humanoid mechs known as Jaegers. Set in the year 2025, Guillermo del Toro's original film establishes the world-building and mythology of this war, culminating in a final assault against the monsters' dimensional portal.
This watch order continues with Uprising, set ten years later in 2035, exploring the post-war world and a resurgence of the Kaiju threat with new pilots and advanced Jaeger technology. The animated Netflix series Pacific Rim: The Black further extends this timeline, though it falls outside our feature film focus.
