Alice in Wonderland Movies: Release Order
This list contains fifteen feature-length adaptations of Lewis Carroll's beloved 1865 novel, spanning from the silent era to modern horror reimaginings. Unlike typical movie franchises, nearly every Alice in Wonderland film is completely independent, each representing a distinct filmmaker's vision rather than continuing a shared story.
Only two entries form an actual narrative continuity: Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland (2010) and its sequel Alice Through the Looking Glass (2016). All other films are standalone interpretations, ranging from Disney's iconic 1951 animation to Jan Švankmajer's surrealist 1988 adaptation. Note that our list does not include made-for-TV versions of Alice.
