The Exorcist Movies: Dominion Timeline
This chronological watch order uses Dominion: Prequel to the Exorcist to explore Father Merrin's first encounter with the demon Pazuzu before the events of the original film.
Dominion was the original vision for the prequel story before studio interference led to extensive reshoots. This timeline provides background on Father Merrin's crisis of faith and his previous battle with evil, adding context to his role in the original exorcism.
