Scary Movie Movies: Core Timeline
The Scary Movie franchise changed hands partway through its run: after the second film, brothers Marlon, Shawn, and Keenen Ivory Wayans stepped away, and the studio continued the series without them for three further films (which aren't included in the list below).
In this watch order you'll follow Cindy Campbell and Brenda Meeks through the original two films before jumping straight to the 2026 legacy sequel, which picks up their story years later. Fittingly, that film's plot even revolves around the Wayans family reclaiming the franchise they lost after Scary Movie 2, making this order feel more like one continuous story rather than a scattered anthology.
There is 1 other watch order available - see the link up above.
