Fear Street Movies: Release Order
The Fear Street franchise consists of an interconnected trilogy released on Netflix over three consecutive weeks in July 2021, followed by a standalone sequel in 2025. The original trilogy tells a cohesive story about Deena and her friends uncovering the dark history of Shadyside and fighting to break a curse that has plagued their town for centuries.
The trilogy was designed to be watched in release order, with each film jumping through time periods to gradually reveal the mystery. Part One: 1994 establishes the present-day horror, Part Two: 1978 flashes back to a summer camp massacre, and Part Three: 1666 travels to the colonial origins of the curse before returning to 1994 for the climactic resolution.
Prom Queen (2025) is a standalone slasher set in 1988 with new characters and only minor references to the trilogy, and can be enjoyed independently.
There is 1 other watch order available - see the link up above.
