My Hero Academia is a popular Japanese anime franchise set in a world where approximately 80% of humanity possesses superpowers called Quirks. The story follows Izuku Midoriya, a Quirkless boy who dreams of becoming a hero and eventually inherits the power of the world's greatest hero, All Might, gaining admission to the prestigious U.A. High School for heroes-in-training.

All four films are considered canon to the main anime series and were supervised by original creator Kōhei Horikoshi. The films follow the students of Class 1-A as they face increasingly dangerous threats, from a high-tech island heist to a terrorist organization bent on eradicating Quirks worldwide. Each film is set at a specific point in the anime's timeline, with characters and events occasionally referenced in the manga.
