REC Movies: Story Timeline
This chronological watch order follows the Spanish films according to the timeline of events within the story universe. REC 3: Genesis begins during the events of REC but extends beyond them, making this the most narratively coherent sequence for understanding the outbreak's progression.
Note that watching REC 3 between the tightly connected REC and REC 2 may feel disruptive, as REC 2 picks up immediately where REC ends with the same characters. However, this order respects the internal chronology where the wedding outbreak unfolds parallel to and slightly beyond the apartment building incident before Ángela's story continues.
There are 4 other watch orders available - see the links up above.
